Distribution of Bamboo

World distribution of bamboo is just like showing at following map.
Most distribution can be confirmed between 35 degree north and south latitudes in more than 1,000mm in precipitation, because of no distribution at dry regions where are less than 1,000mm in precipitation.

Even it is not clear, the distribution area is said to be 3.4 million ha in China, 0.81 million ha in Thailand, 1.48 million ha in Vietnam, 2.2 million ha in Myanmer and 9.57 milion ha? in India.
It is said that the 80% of distribution in the world must be found in Asian countries.
