Botanic Gardens of Singpore
[Distribution] Southern regions in China
          whole in southeast Asian countries.
[Local name] Stripe bamboo in English

This is one of mutations of B. vulgaris which is wonderful in green stripes on golden colored culm.
Rhizome is sympodial type and typical bamboo for ornamental plantation in the world at present.
Size of culm is little bit small but the other style is nearly the same with origin.

It can be seen anywhere we visited as very pupolar.
I used to confirm it at the yard of Japan Embassy in Bangkok too.
